Can you believe we are finally here?!! WOOHOO!!! \ud83e\udd29<\/p>\n\n\n\n
I feel like the winter lasted forever and went out like a roaring lion with the recent ice storm! <\/p>\n\n\n\n
There\u2019s still so much damage out there and the clean up is ongoing. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Thankfully, that is over, and on Friday we celebrated the longest day of the year! \ud83e\udd73<\/p>\n\n\n\n
But! Yes there\u2019s a but! You know what that means though eh?! That we have officially crossed the half way point, and that the days will slowly grow shorter moving forward. Ugh! I\u2019m so NOT there yet! <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Funny though, when I told my 15 year old that we are now officially losing daylight hours, he was like, \u201cYessss! More sleep!!\u201d Oh boy, is this an actual teenager thing?! \ud83d\ude02<\/p>\n\n\n\n
So it\u2019s now Sunday, and in a couple of short days, we will be blessed with the knowledge and experience from another amazing warrior speaker!! <\/p>\n\n\n\n
This TUESDAY June 24th at 6:15pm, we will be gathering again at the Muskoka Natural Food Market at 229 Manitoba Street in Bracebridge. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
We will be hearing from Steve Bacon and his lovely wife, Sharon Bacon.\ud83d\ude0a<\/p>\n\n\n\n
They are the owners, growers, and educators of their successful, local run family business, they fittingly call, \u2018Four Seasons Greens\u2019. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
They started their family business back in 2010 as an \u2018at home hobby\u2019, that has grown (quite literally!) into the successful and still<\/em> growing business that it is today!<\/p>\n\n\n\n The Bacons\u2019s did all of this while raising and homeschooling their five children. With God leading their way, the fruits of their labours have paid off! <\/p>\n\n\n\n What outstanding life lessons for their children to bear witness to! <\/p>\n\n\n\n Steve and Sharon have been gracing Muskoka with their nutrient dense sprouts, micro greens and other healthy and delicious greens! \ud83d\ude0b <\/p>\n\n\n\n You may have already tried their delicious products by eating a favourite dish at a local restaurant or hotel, or perhaps you selected your own from the local grocer, or natural health food store! \ud83d\ude1c<\/p>\n\n\n\n They stock the shelves in our community with their fabulous produce weekly, so it\u2019s guaranteed to always be fresh! The beautiful part about supplying\/buying locally! \ud83d\udc4d\ud83d\udc40\ud83d\udc4d<\/p>\n\n\n\n Haha Funny brain wave here (possibly induced by the heat wave)! <\/p>\n\n\n\n That is the realization that the \u2018Bacon\u2019s\u2019 supply us with \u2018greens\u2019!! See the irony?! I just couldn\u2019t resist. I\u2019m sure they\u2019ve heard it before! \ud83d\ude1c\ud83d\ude02<\/p>\n\n\n\n I\u2019m delighted to have them come and not only share their experiences of their journey with us, but also to educate us on the nutritional benefits that sprouts and micro greens have for us! <\/p>\n\n\n\n It really is incredible and the science surely backs it up!
